Mobile NFC Verification

Mobile Verification Steps

Follow these steps to verify a wine bottle using your phone's NFC capabilities:

  1. Tap "Start Scanning" below.
  2. Hold your phone near either NFC tag on the bottle — the label tag (sealed) or the opened tag.
  3. The system will instantly identify and verify the bottle.

Important: Make sure NFC is enabled on your device.

Web NFC is currently only supported on Android devices using Chrome browser.

Need Help?

  1. Make sure NFC is enabled in your phone settings.
  2. Web NFC is currently only supported on Android devices using Chrome.
  3. Place your phone's NFC reader (usually near the top or center of the back) directly on the NFC tag.
  4. Move your phone slowly over the tag to find the optimal position.
  5. Remove any thick phone cases that might be blocking the NFC signal.

The wine bottle has two NFC tags:

  • Sealed Tag (Non Consommée): On the label — scan this when the bottle is intact.
  • Opened Tag (Consommée): Near the cork/capsule — becomes the active tag once the bottle is opened.

You only need to scan one tag — the system will identify the bottle from either tag.

If mobile NFC verification isn't working, you can try these alternatives:

  • Use the Desktop Verification with an external NFC reader.
  • Look up the bottle by ID if it's printed on the label.
  • Contact customer support for assistance.
